Christmas 2018 has come early for Ulster-Based Brands and Sellers!

Finally after YEARS of rumours and waiting (& hoping) for this to happen, it is finally here. Yes Percy Group has agreed terms to be one of the first (only?) Northern-Ireland-Based Amazon Partners to be able to ship goods using the Seller-Fulfilled Prime Program over to buyers in Mainland UK, as well as Intra-NI.

Before now, Amazon producers would have to ship items over to one of the various Amazon Fulfilment Centres on the mainland in order to sell their products FBA – Fulfilled By Amazon, to get the Prime Badge. Not any more. Now Percy Group clients have the ability to have their own inventory shipped from our warehouse in Portadown, as and when Amazon customers order it.

Normally this time of year, Sellers start to think about shipping enormous quantities of Inventory to FBA Fulfilment Centres in time for the Q4 Rush. This incurs shipping fees [to England], Amazon Storage Fees, and Replenishment Costs, plus a keen eye would always needs to be kept on FBA Inventory and Trends. Sellers know it’s an expensive way to do business, but it’s the only way historically to get the Prime badge if you our outside Mainland UK. Now Sellers in Northern Ireland can hold Inventory here at our DC, which can be dropped off, stored or lifted at a fraction of the cost of shipping to Amazon. Plus this is all doable in a way that does not impact the Pan-European Inventory Program. It’s a WIN-WIN for local businesses and one we welcome.”
